We are here today becuase all of the kids hate how the state is misusing and misapproperiating money that should go towards
schools. Michigan schools are not over well doing that well. Since proposal a went into affect in 1994 our schools have been
going worse and worse into the tubes. Troy Area Schools have closed becuase of a lack of money coming from the state. Many
other schools are within five years of the same occurence. How would you like to see 35 children in you childs 5th grade classroom
with only one teacher? I am sure you wouldn't. Schools distrcts such as Brighton Area Schools are already cutting such things
as busing to high schools and athletics. Lets not let it go any further. Read on the next page to hear what you can do to

Proposal A changed the way the state used to get funded. Now proposal A changed the funding so that schools get funding
mostly from sales tax and our economy isn't flurishing. Which means the state hasn't increased funding in the past three years
which means our schools are having a harder time getting funding. What we all should do is help the economy also by telling
all our freinds to come visit michigan(if they live out of state) or to buy more expensive items.
